Margaret McCoy Wolkowsky

Margaret “Peggy” McCoy Wolkowsky died November 28, 2014 at her home in Safety Harbor, Florida. She fought a short but tough battle with cancer.

Peggy was born in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania in 1954. Her family moved to Vero Beach, Florida in 1959 where she grew up and graduated from Vero Beach High School.

Peggy was the loving wife of Daniel Wolkowsky, with whom they shared 28 years of marriage. While she had no children of her own, she has a step-son, David Wolkowsky of St. Petersburg, Fl. She was a loving sister to Ginny McCoy Fowler of Port St. Lucie and James McCoy Jr. of Vero Beach. She loved her seven nieces and nephews as if they were her own children. The real joys in her life were all of her great nephews and nieces.

She was a Medical Lab Technologist for many years. Later in life, Peggy went back to school and became a Registered Nurse.

She was preceded in death by her father, James McCoy Sr. and her mother, Frances McCoy.
