Margaret H. Slater, 75, of Fort Pierce, Fla. died Friday, December 18th, 2020. Retired from St Lucie County Maintenance Department, she loved baking, sewing, racing and spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her parents, Willie and Jewel Cribbs Heath; 3 brothers, David Heath, Vaughn Heath, Billy Heath Sr. and a sister Gladys Kafka.
Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Tim Slater of Ft Pierce, Fla.; children, Ricky Moxley of Palm City, Fla., Tammy Lynn Spires, Kimberly Coleman, Timothy Slater, Tracy Davis of Fort Pierce, Fla., Tammy Mickels of Middlefield, Ohio; siblings, Steve Heath, Mary Ann Miller and Darlene Archambeault, all of Jesup, Ga., Gail Rothfeldt of Mobile, Ala., Lawrence Heath of Beech Island, S.C., Wesley Heath of Kingston, Ga.; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 4 to 6 PM Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at Rinehart and Sons Chapel, Jesup, Georgia. Funeral services will be 11 AM Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Rinehart and Sons Chapel with Rev. Stanley Todd officiating. Interment will follow in the Ritch Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be family and friends.
