Margaret Alice Wetherington, 97, died October 16, 2016 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mrs. Wetherington was born in Liberty Corner, New Jersey and moved to Fort Pierce in 2007 coming from Tampa, Florida.
She was of the Presbyterian faith and loved sewing, bowling and gardening.
Survivors include her daughters, Margaret “Peggy” Ballentine of Steinhatchee, FL, Janet L. Thomas of McKees Rock, PA; son, Walter Myers of Schertz, TX; brother, David Burnett of Burlington, NC; sister, Lois Gausz of Harwich Port, MA; 9 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Myers, 5 brothers, 4 sisters, 1 grandchild, and 1 great-grandchild.
Services: Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM AM with a service to follow at 12:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery.
