Margaret Wilcox

Margaret Wilcox was affectionately known by her family and close friends as “Mega Mary”, “Mary Margaret” or just “Mega”.
Margaret was born on November 21, 1962 to the late Hope and Damon Wilcox in Fort Pierce, Florida where she resided until the morning of March 28, 2022 when she peacefully took up her wings and ascended to her heavenly home.
Margaret matriculated through the St. Lucie County School System and was a graduate of Ft. Pierce Westwood High School. She also attended Indian River State College where she completed the Cosmetology Program.
Although Margaret loved bowling, fishing, and many other outdoor activities; there was nothing that brought her more joy than preparing a large home cooked meal, and spending time with her family and friends.
Margaret is survived by her two brothers: Danny Tommie and Leon Wilcox, Sr. (Vernesha), and her sister: Patricia Wilcox (Lorenzo) all of Fort Lauderdale, FL. She is also survived by her loving children which includes her two sons: Remus (Aryandea) Griffin and Joshua (Sarah) Sneed, and her three daughters: Sheree Sneed, Crystal Sneed, and Hope Sneed; and 17 grandchildren, all of Fort Pierce, FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hope Tommie and Damon Wilcox and her older sister, Jennie Bobby.
She made many charitable contributions to the Sickle Cell Foundation, as well as the Local Veterans Association. She also enjoyed feeding the homeless.
Services: A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at 3:00 PM at The Lake House Ft. Pierce, 321 Lamont Road, Fort Pierce 34947.
