Margie T. Hobbs, age 71 of 215 Cheaha Trail, Childersburg, AL, a former resident of Fort Pierce, died Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at Coosa Valley Medical Center in Sylacauga, AL. Margie and her husband, Claude M. Hobbs, Jr (Buddy) lived in Fort Pierce from 1963 to 1998. They were co-owners, with Rick & Jimmie Anne Haisley, of Haisley-Hobbs Funeral Home up until their retirement in 1998 when they moved back to Alabama.
Margie was a member of the Midway Road Church of Christ in Fort Pierce. Her survivors include her husband, Buddy Hobbs, Childersburg, AL; one daughter, Renae Hobbs Dobbe, Appleton, WI; two sons, Clay Hobbs, Franklin, TN and David Hobbs, Appleton, WI and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11am, Saturday, March 19, 2011 at the Childersburg Church of Christ with Brother Gary Bradley, Jr officiating. Burial will follow in Greenhill Memorial Gardens in Childersburg, AL. Radney-Smith Funeral Home, Sylacauga, AL is in charge of local arrangements.
