Marguerite Jane Gorman, 92, died June 14, 2012, in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Marguerite was born in Hartford, Connecticut, and was a resident of Port St. Lucie, FL, since 1979, coming from Jensen Beach, FL.
She was the owner-operator of Nimble Needles in Port St. Lucie, FL, enjoyed playing bingo, traveling and spending time with her family. She attended St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church and was active with the Elk’s Lodge.
Survivors include her sons, Howard T. Gorman of N. Palm Beach, FL and Robert J. Gorman, Ft. Pierce, FL; daughter, Judith E. Gorman of Port St. Lucie, FL; 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas H. Gorman and granddaughter, Kimberly M. Gerrish in 2009.
Memorial contributions may in Marguerite’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Community Care c/o St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 2900 S. Jenkins Road, Ft. Pierce, FL 34981 or the charity of your choice.
Visitation will be Friday, June 22nd, 11:00 to 12:00 PM, followed by a Service at 12:00 Noon at Haisley Funeral Home Chapel.
