Marguerite Eugena Walker

Marguerite Eugena Walker, 85, died January 8, 2014 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Mrs. Walker was born in Angola, New York and moved to Port St. Lucie in 1996 coming from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

She worked for the Beach Patrol for the City of Fort Lauderdale for 24 ½ years. She was a big supporter of the Special Olympics and loved horses.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Patti & George King of Port St. Lucie, FL; son, Robert P. Walker, Jr.; 2 grandchildren, Michelle King and George Robert King; sister, Gretchen Karmazin of Annapolis, MD; nieces, Kathy Calin-Karmazin of Merritt Island, FL and Darlene McLean of Annapolis, MD. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Porter Walker.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Special Olympics Florida, 1915 Don Wickham Drive Clermont, FL 34711-1905.

Burial will take place at Lauderdale Memorial Cemetery in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisley Funeral & Cremation Service.
