Maria Bolonka

Maria Bolonka, 93, passed away on January 5, 2018 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mrs. Bolonka was born in Kiev, Ukraine and moved to the United States in 1953 coming from Belgium. She resided in Upper Chichester, Pennsylvania before moving to Florida in 2006.
Maria worked for Reynolds Springs in Chester, Pennsylvania and then retired and became a homemaker for her family. She was a very involved member and lector of St. Mary’s Ukraine Orthodox Church, Chester, Pennsylvania and she served as president for three years of the Ukrainian National Women’s League- Branch 2 of Chester. She was very well known for her delicious cakes and intricate wedding breads that she would make for family and friends. She was also known for her perogies that she would make at the church weekly. She was an avid gardener with a gift given green thumb.
Survivors include her son, Andrew Bolonka of Vero Beach, FL and granddaughter, Payton Bolonka of Weston, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wasyl Bolonka.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing on Friday, 9-9:45 AM followed by her Funeral Mass at 10 AM at St. Mary's Ukranian Orthodox Church, 2412 W 3rd St, Chester, PA 19013. Interment St. Andrew's Cemetery, 280 Main St, South Bound Brook, NJ 08880.
