Maria E. Serrano, 65, died February 9, 2008 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.Mrs. Serrano was born in San Isidro, Michoacan, Mexico and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1979 coming from Mexico.She worked in maintenance.Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Wilmer Serrano of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughters, Elida Luna, Irma Lopez and Elvia Barcenas all of Ft. Pierce, Carolina Serrano of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Angelica Castro of Arcadia, FL and Esmeralda Rainey of Hampton, VA; sons, Jose Serrano of Ft. Pierce, FL, Guadalupe Serrano of Ft. Pierce, FL, Jorge Serrano of Houston, TX and Bilmer Serrano of Ft. Pierce, FL; sisters, Beatriz Velasquez of Jupiter, FL and Rufina Sanchez of Ft. Pierce, FL; brothers, Roberto Velasquez of Mexico and Cerafin Velasquez of California; and 28 grandchildren.Services: Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 17, 2008 from 6-8 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A service will be held on Monday, February 18, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the San Juan Diego Center, Ft. Pierce. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery.
