Marie Elizabeth Graney, 85, died February 6, 2009 in Morganton, North Carolina at her residence.
Mrs. Graney was born in Essex County, New Jersey. She currently lived in North Carolina and was formerly of Ft. Pierce, Florida.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her daughters, Mary Anne Scott of Asheville, NC, Margaret Post of Morganton, NC, and Kathleen Fischer of Howey-in-the-Hills, FL; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas M. Graney, brother, Daniel Curry, and sister, Rita Curry.
Services: Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2009 from 8:30-9:30 AM at Haisley Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 AM at St. Mark’s Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Park.
