Marie Emma Joseph, 86, of Port St. Lucie, FL passed away August 3, 2023.

Marie Emma Joseph was born August 14, 1936 at Barbe, which is located about 4 kilometers from the city of St. Marc. She was the daughter of the late Hermane Joseph and Elmise Simeon Jean Noel. She was the third kid of a family of 6; 3 girls and 3 boys. She was a self-made businesswoman and a devoted merchant for most of her life. She became a church member in 1986 and in April 2005, she moved to the States.

Marie Emma Joseph was the mother of 5 kids, Emmana and Guerlange (predeceased), Arold and Mona Joseph, and Gladys Joseph Laurent; grandmother of Davidson, Jasmine, Roojen Shamala and Darnel Joseph; Jean Gilbert and Rebecca Lauren, Petchess and Fimana Michele and great-grandmother of Dewolf Oliver Ellie. She had one daughter-in-law, Marie Islande Zulme Joseph; one son-in-law, Osnel Laurent. She had two surviving brothers, Dieudonne Joseph Tilus and Pierre Marseille; nephews and nieces, Proseper, Ernest, Dufrene, Jacqueline, Angeline, Fenel and Jacques Louis, Jeanot, Dieuthel, Hermane, Guerline Elson, Loveman, Johny, Natacha, Dieumanitth and Jhimy Joseph, Shiler Soufran, Elmina, Evaise, Reginal, Ivone, and James Marseille.

She is also survived by a host of cousins, Erick, Emates, Gladys, Delivrance, Ogenik, Lizana, Iramene, Elianthe, Anecide, Denoil, Marie Dinettes, Josapha Joseph, Fernande Vilsant, Liliane Philostene, Mimose Morthel, Sylvaine Pierre Jean, Filonise and Monique Augusme, Molaire Morthel, Dukens Voltair, Love Flerinord, Aneme, Belony, Ricot, Jllslaine, Vithal, Adler, Delucien, Marc-Edras Joseph, Ely and Theoma Tilus, Leonne Revolus, Aluters Destilus and Olga Destilus and other Family members including Tilus, Destilus, Pierre Jean, Mortel, Marseille, Vilsaint, Philostene, Laurent, Morthel, Volatair, Michel, Louis, Soufran, Fleurinor, Zulme.

A visitation will be held on Friday, August 18, 2023 from 6PM to 8PM at the Haisley Tribute Center 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd Port St. Lucie, FL 34984. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023 from 10AM to 12PM at the Eglise Haitenne Bethaine De L'Alliance 230 SW North Wakefield Circle Port St. Lucie, FL 34953, burial will follow at Rolling Oaks Cemetery 2200 SW Del Rio Blvd Port St. Lucie, FL 34953. Family will hold a repast at Regal Event Hall 582 NW University Blvd Port St. Lucie, FL 34986.
