Marietta Ellen Chipman Eason, 86, died October 12, 2008 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mrs. Eason was born in Williamstown, Kentucky and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1978 coming from Louisville, Kentucky.
She retired as Executive Vice President from Meidinger & Associates, an accounting firm, was a member of the Southside Christian Church, Ft. Pierce, Esther Circle at Church, and member of the Ft. Pierce Woman’s Club. She enjoyed playing bridge and was like a grandma to her two grand nieces and one grand nephew.
Survivors include her sisters, Betty Curtis of Mount Sterling, KY and Ruby Osborne of Owenton, KY; niece, Angela Ewers of Ft. Pierce, FL. and nephew, Lee Newbern of Ft. Pierce, FL.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Southside Christian Church Building Fund, 3822 Edwards Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34981.
Services: Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 from 5-8 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A service will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2008 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will take place at Williamstown Cemetery in Williamstown, Kentucky. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisley Funeral & Cremation Service.
