Marilyn Jean Sloane, 74, died August 30, 2009 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mrs. Sloane was born in Richmond, Indiana and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1974 coming from Orlando, Florida.
Prior to retirement, she was a foreman for a citrus company.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Lawrence Sloane of Ft. Pierce, FL; daughters, Sondra Plank, Lisa Smith, Tina Burchfield, and Wanda Simmons all of Ft. Pierce, FL; son, John Sloane of Boynton Beach, FL; 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Larry Sloane.
Services: Visitation will be held on Friday, September 4, 2009 from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM with a service to follow at 1:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home.
