Marilyn S. Politis, 85, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2018 in Grapevine, Texas.
She was born in New Jersey on May 31, 1933. She lived in Fort Pierce most of her life until moving to Texas to be close to her daughter.
Survivors include her daughter, Susan Fangman of Grapevine, TX; grandson, Jeffrey Fangman (wife Aldrei); granddaughter, Stephanie Detchessahar (husband Chris); brother, George Stamos (wife Judy); stepsons, Alex Politis, Michael Politis (wife Susan); stepdaughter, Coni Smyth (husband Rich); 6 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, George Steven Close and husband, Constantino Politis.
Services: Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2018 from 5-7 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 29, 2018 at 10:00 AM with interment immediately following at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
