Marilyn J. Riley

Marilyn J. (Weiler) Riley, 77, of Port St. Lucie, FL passed away April 26, 2025 surrounded by her devoted family.

Marilyn was born May 3, 1947 in Johnson City, NY to the late Everett and June (Hills) Weiler. She married her beloved David on January 17, 1965. David and Marilyn relocated to Port St. Lucie, FL in 1972.

Marilyn graduated from Vestal Central High School in Vestal, NY. She attended Barry University and Indian River State College.

Marilyn worked for the St. Lucie County School Systems for 35 years, mostly as manager. She had the privilege of being involved in opening many of the new schools in the area.

Marilyn was a devoted member of Family Church in Port St. Lucie, FL. She spent many years singing at church. Church was an important part of Marilyn’s life. Family was also important to Marilyn; she loved traveling with her family in their RV. She was proud to say she visited all 49 of the continental States.

She will be greatly missed by her beloved David; she left a legacy of love for her children, David (Ashley) Riley Jr of Palm City, FL and daughter, Michele (Ricky) Riley Webb of Port St. Lucie, FL. She will be remembered with great affection by her sister, Dawn James of Endicott, NY, brother, David (Janet) Weiler of Bluffton, SC and sister, Ann (Brian) Stanley of Boca Raton, FL. She will remain forever in the hearts of her grandchildren, Matthew Riley of Orlando, FL, Nicole DelRosario and Ricardo DelRosario, both of Port St. Lucie, FL, Landon Bailes and Everett Riley both of Palm City, FL and her great-grandchildren, Sophia, Joshua, Bentley, and Nyla. She was greatly loved by her nieces, nephews, cousins and church family.

She was predeceased by her parents, Everett and June Weiler of Vestal, NY and her brother, Mark.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30th, 2025 from 2PM to 3PM with a Service to begin at 3PM at the Haisley Tribute Center 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd Port St. Lucie, FL 34984.
