Marion B. Carels, 88, died January 30, 2011 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Mrs. Carels was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and moved to Fort Pierce in 1957 coming from Harvey Cedars, New Jersey and recently moved to Port St. Lucie in 2001.
She attended First United Methodist Church of Port St. Lucie and was a member of the Pilot Club. She enjoyed sewing and doing crossword puzzles.
Survivors include her daughters, Janet Pederson of Port St. Lucie, FL and Joan Giovachino of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; sons, James Carels of Apopka, FL and Jeffrey Carels of Green Bay, WI; sister, Beatrice Feusner of Jasper, FL; 8 grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and 1 step-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Carels.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
Services: Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 5, 2011 from 2-3 PM with a service to follow at 3:00 PM at First United Methodist Church, 260 S. W. Prima Vista Blvd., Port St. Lucie, FL 34983.
