Marion Kallstrom

Marion Kallstrom, 81, of Charlotte, North Carolina, previously of Ft. Pierce, Florida died peacefully on March 3, 2009 after a short illness. She was pre-deceased by her husband of over 50 years, Russell F.Kallstrom, and their son, Steven.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Phyllis and Ken Kinsinger of Charlotte, and Pamela and Guy Paredes of Colts Neck, NJ and seven grandchildren and their spouses, Eric and Denise Kinsinger of Ft. Mill, SC, Jeffrey and Beth Kinsinger of Lilburn, GA, Chad and Melinda (Paredes) Austein of Hackensack, NJ, Allison Paredes and Sarah Paredes, both of Colts Neck, NJ and Steven’s children, Teva and Melissa (Kallstrom) Beatty and Russell and Sonia Kallstrom of Hawaii. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren, one brother and two sisters and many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Kallstrom was born in Norwood, MA and lived in Massachusetts until 1965, when the Kallstroms moved to Westfield, NJ. They retired in 1977, dividing their time between a home on a beautiful lake in Milton, NH and Ft. Pierce, where they were among the founders of the First Congregational United Church of Christ. She was a life long avid golfer, crafts maker, letter writer, devoted friend to many, and a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

A memorial service to celebrate Mrs. Kallstrom’s life will be on March 28, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 3601 Kirby Loop, Ft. Pierce, FL 34981.
