Mrs. Arend was born in Hungary and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1974 coming from Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
She was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church and a volunteer at Treasure Coast Hospice.
Survivors include her daughter, Nancy (Brian) McCarty of Mouth of Wilson, VA; son, Robert (Lauren) Arend of Ft. Pierce, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Arend.

Services: Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 from 10-11 AM with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 AM at Haisley Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisley Funeral & Cremation Service.
