Marjorie Elizabeth Owens, 87, died March 31, 2013 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mrs. Owens was a lifetime resident of Ft. Pierce, Florida.
She retired after 40 years of dedicated service with St. Lucie County School Board. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church, Elks Club, GFWC Women’s Club of Ft. Pierce, and also volunteered as a Pink Lady at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include her sons, Bill (Becky) Owens of Ormond Beach, FL and Chuck (Darlene) Owens of Ft. Pierce, FL; 5 grandchildren, Amber, Ashley, Jeremiah, and Wesley Owens and Beth Poeschl; and 4 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reed C. Owens and her parents.
