Marjorie Blanche Saenger

Marjorie B. Saenger, 103, departed this world July 15, 2017.

Born in New York City to Mable B. and Jonathan Jackson and was raised in Scotch Plains, New Jersey.

Predeceased by her parents; her husband, Roland RA Saenger in 1978 and 5 siblings, Webster Jackson, Ralph Jackson, Esther Wilson, Lois Johnson and Constance Hollender.

Marjorie was employed for 20 years in the Finance Department at Bard College in New York and worked for Dr. Roger Yerry for 21 years as a Medical Secretary in New York. She was the organist at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Tovoli for many years and after moving to Florida played at St. Mark’s Anglican Church in Vero Beach, Florida.

Survived by her loving daughter, Valerie Rowe; grandchildren, Jon Rowe Jr., Jenna Hobart and Vanessa Rowe; great-grandchildren, Jon Rowe III, Alyssa Rowe, Kyle, Braydon, Keaton and Emma Hobart.

A Memorial Service will be held at noon on July 29, 2017 at 780 Media Terrace, Sebastian, Florida and in New York at a later date.
