Mark Wayne Morrison

Mark Wayne Morrison, 53, died March 4, 2012 in Ft. Pierce, FL.
Mr. Morrison was born in Dubois, Pennsylvania and moved to Fort Pierce in 1981 and to Okeechobee in 2004.
He worked for the St. Lucie County Fire Department for 25 years. Morrison started with the Fire District in 1987 as a firefighter/emergency medical technician, he then became a driver/engineer in 1996 and three years later became a lieutenant. He was a big NASCAR fan.
Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Susan Morrison of Okeechobee, FL; daughters, Patricia Roberts of Lake Placid, FL and Brittany Morrison of Montgomery, AL; and 1 grandson.
Mark will be remembered for the appreciation of the natural beauty around his home and for that beautiful smile and most especially for the willingness to help others.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Hundred Club of St. Lucie County, (Attn: Dorothy) 4700 West Midway Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34981.
Services: Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2012 from 5-7 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A service will be held on Friday, March 9, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Westside Baptist Church.
