Marlyn B. Petrucelli

Marlyn Benedict Petrucelli, 81, died January 31, 2008 in Port St. Lucie, Florida.Mrs. Petrucelli was born in Watertown, New York and moved to Port St. Lucie in 1982 coming from New York.She graduated from Pulaski Central School, received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the Crane Department of Music, State Teacher’s College, Potsdam, New York, and her Master’s Degree in Education at SUNY, Potsdam. She retired from the Carthage Central School System in 1981 after 31 years. She taught Vocal Music for 3 years; then taught Kindergarten until her retirement.Survivors include her sister, Beverly McAvoy and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom, and her sisters, Emma Louise Benedict Szot Dolan, and Hazel Benedict Finen.Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 4, 2008 at 2:00 PM at St. Mark’s Catholic Church. Burial will be held at Sulphur Springs Cemetery, Hounsfield, New York.
