Martha Jean (Johns) Brown, 76, died February 8, 2024 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Mrs. Brown was born in Palatka, Florida and resided in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Martha graduated from Palatka High School in 1965.  She was a church secretary and a sitter for the elderly.  Martha and her husband ran B&M Lawnmower in town for over 25 years before retiring to raise their 2 grandsons.  She loved animals and nature.  She had lovebirds, chickens, parakeets, and many dogs & cats over the years.  She also enjoyed gardening and had many different plants.  

Survivors include her husband, William Bruce Brown of Fort Pierce, FL; daughter, Cynthia Lorraine Brown of Port St. Lucie, FL; grandsons, Justin Blake Joyce of Fort Pierce, FL and Jason Alexander Joyce of Port St. Lucie, FL; sisters, Rose Ann Selph of Palatka, FL and Mary Sue Moore of Palatka, FL. She was preceded in death by her mother, Annie Mae Johns, father, Willard L. Johns, sister, Cynthia Louise Luke, daughter, Deborah Ann Joyce, and son, William Aaron Brown.  

Memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice or Dogs & Cats Forever. 

Services:  Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 11, 2024 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A service will be held on Monday, February 12, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisley Funeral Home.
