Martha Virginia Cochran, 95, of Fort Pierce, Florida passed away June 3, 2017 in Port Saint Lucie, Florida.
Martha, her husband Clate and family moved to Fort Pierce, Florida in 1956 coming from Elbert, West Virginia.
She was always surrounded by her family. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Survivors include son, Ralph (Sue) Cochran of Merritt Island, Florida; daughter, Barbara (Duane) Nester of Hillsville, Virginia; son, Ron Cochran of Fort Pierce, Florida; grandchildren, Kimberly Cochran of Vero Beach, Florida, Larry (Carrie) Melton of Fort Pierce, Florida, Brad (Wanda) Melton of Ayden, North Carolina, Brian (Cheree) Cochran of Melbourne, Florida; seven great-grandchildren; sister-in-laws, Reatha Castle of Bluefield, West Virginia and Edith Castle of Thorpe, West Virginia; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her husband of 58 years, Clate Cochran; brothers, William Castle, Sam Castle, Herbert Castle, James Castle, Bud Castle; sisters, Cosby Hamilton and Margaret Myers.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 9, 2017 from 5-7 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A service will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at White City Cemetery 3800 Sunrise Blvd Fort Pierce, Florida 34982.
