Martha Marie Johnson went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
She was very loving, kindhearted, young at heart, and was a second mother to many. Martha was a wife, mother, Christian woman, elder’s wife, and a friend to all. Martha was a member of the Son-Rise Church of Christ in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Previously, Martha worshipped at Franklin Church of Christ, Midway Road Church of Christ, Orange Avenue Church of Christ, and Andrews Avenue Church of Christ.
Martha was always doing for others- she sewed over 1000 dresses for the little girls in Panama, was always baking and having people over for dinner, made beautiful lap quilts for the veterans, and would make flower arrangements for the auditorium in the church building.
Martha was born in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Brown and Martha were married on September 8, 1950. Brown and Martha owned and operated Mason Mountain Rhodolite Mine in Franklin, North Carolina from 1969-2010.
