Martha Turner Johnson, 95, died December 6, 2009 in Dothan, AL.
Mrs. Johnson was born in Morriston, Florida but lived most of her lifetime in Ft. Pierce, Florida before moving to Daleville, Alabama in 1994. She had been a resident of Hartford Health Care for the past eleven months. Mrs. Johnson was a member of the Parkview Baptist Church, Ft. Pierce and attended First United Methodist Church of Daleville, Alabama. She was a retired employee of Winn Dixie in Ft. Pierce.
Surviving relatives include her son, Horace B. Johnson and wife, Joyce Johnson of Daleville, AL; granddaughter, Donna Adams and husband, Bruce Adams of Dothan, AL; two great-grandchildren, Christopher Perry and Ashleigh Perry. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl James Turner and Mary Jenkins Turner and also a former husband, James Parker Johnson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church of Daleville, 44 South Daleville Avenue, Daleville, AL 36322-2321.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 11. 2009 from 1-2 PM with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home with the Rev. Roland Sams officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Memorial Park.
