Martin Ralph Styer, Jr.

Martin Styer, Jr., 87, died April 25, 2008 in Ft Pierce, Florida.Mr. Styer was born in Kensington, Maryland and moved to Ft Pierce in 1978 coming from Pompano Beach, FL.He served in the US Army during WWII and was a prisoner of war for one year. He worked most of his life as a local fisherman.Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Doris Styer of Ft Pierce, FL; daughters, Shirley Watson of Kensington, MD & Linda Bodine of Columbia, MD; sister, Elizabeth Duvall of Bethesda, MD; 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.Memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospices 1201 SE Indian Street Stuart, FL 34997.A visitation will be held Monday, April 28, 2008 6-8 PM at Haisley Funeral Home.
