Mr. Franklin was born in Baltimore, Maryland and moved to Ft. Pierce in 2009.
He was a welder and loved life and fishing.
Survivors include his wife of 9 years, Sylva of Fort Pierce, FL; daughters, Taria Franklin of Maryland, Lynnette Franklin of New York and Terry Franklin of Maryland; step-daughter, Melanie Staton of Ft. Pierce, FL; 6 grandchildren; brothers, Paul Franklin of Maryland, Alvin Franklin, Jr. of Indiana and Raymond Franklin of Maryland. He was preceded in death by his father & mother, Alvin & Beauty Mae Franklin and brother, Calvin.
