Marvin Lee Penny, 77, died April 22, 2010 in Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Penny was born in Homestead, Florida and moved to Ft. Pierce in 1981 coming from Pompano Beach.
He retired after 31 years with Swift Agricultural Chemical Company after serving as 1st Lieutenant in the Army in the Landing Craft Unit. He was an avid fisherman.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Katie Penny of Ft. Pierce, FL; sons, David (Pat) Penny of Wauchula, FL and Ken (Carline) Penny of Vero Beach, FL; grandchildren, Debra Penny of Redding, CA, Christopher Penny and Jennifer Penny both of Vero Beach, FL.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Dogs & Cats Forever, 9550 Carlton Road, Port St. Lucie, FL 34987.
Services: Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 27, 2010 from 5-8 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at 12:30 PM at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisley Funeral & Cremation Service.
