Mary Catherine Nix, 90, died April 29, 2006, in Fort Pierce, Florida.Mary was born in Umatilla, Florida, and was a resident of Fort Pierce since 1971, coming from Eustis, FL.She was a packer in the Citrus industry, was of the Baptist faith, loved to grow orchids and create porcelain dolls.Survivors include her daughter, Doris Stuart of Fort Pierce, FL; sons, Leonard Nix of Fort Pierce, FL and Charles Nix of Inverness, FL; brother, Jimmy Rich of Tennessee; sisters, Mattie Martin of Orlando, Fl and Dimple Hawthorne of Tavares, FL; 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.Visitation will be Tuesday, May 2nd from 2 to 4 PM at Haisley Funeral Home Chapel, followed by a Service at 4:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lakeside Memorial Cemetery in Eustis, FL with visitation at Harden-Pauli Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 3rd from 12:30 to 2:30 PM followed by Graveside Services at 3:00 PM.
