Mary Johanna Christensen, 90, died February 4, 2018 in Vero Beach, Florida.
Mrs. Christensen was born in Looking Glass Township, Illinois and moved to Vero Beach in 1968 coming from Warren, Michigan.
Prior to retirement, she was an employee trainer for the telephone company and was a Past Matron with the Fort Pierce Police Department. She had a wonderful voice and enjoyed singing. She was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include her sons, Michael Christensen of Duluth, GA and Steve Christensen of Vero Beach, FL; brother, Bernard Ubbenjans of Michigan; 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Christensen and brother, Herman Ubbenjans.
Services: A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 10:45 AM at South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, FL.
