Mary Elizabeth (Betty) Hughes, 87, died July 29, 2016.
She was a native of Pittsburgh, PA and a resident of Fort Pierce since 1987.
Betty or Big B as she was sometimes lovely referred was a homemaker, loving mother, grandmother, and a great grandmother. She was an avid bingo and card player, always having a deck in hand looking for a good game of cards.
Survivors include her daughters; Mary Ann Dillmann and Bernadette Hughes both of Pittsburgh, and Kathleen (Coleman) Hodapp of Palm City. Grandchildren, Kimberly, Laura, James, and Kristi, 8 great-grandchildren, her protective dog Macy and her bingo buddies Clair and Rose.
She was preceded in death by her husbands’, James Hughes and Ralph Delo and brother, James Cunningham.

Services: Visitation will be held on Monday, August 8, 2016 from 4-7 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A service will be conducted on Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
