Mary “Sissy” Ivey, 65, passed away on July 29, 2023 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Mary was born on June 08, 1958, and was a lifelong resident of Fort Pierce, Florida. She loved taking care of her kids and grandkids and they always came first. Sissy was a skilled craftsman and a jack of all trades. There was not much she couldn’t do, and if she didn’t know how, she would learn it. She also enjoyed caring for her bonsai trees, sewing, and baking. She was known for her sweet tea, fried chicken, napoleons, and lobster tails that were better than any Italian bakery. Sissy was a true Gemini.

Mary “Sissy” was preceded in passing by her father, Jerry Harrison. She leaves behind her husband, Pat Ivey of Fort Pierce, FL; her son, J.P. Ivey of Fort Pierce, FL; daughter, Sarah Ivey of Fort Pierce, FL; mother, Mary Harrison of Fort Pierce, FL; sister, Dolly (Larry) Ivey of Fort Pierce, FL; brothers, Jerry Harrison Jr. of Sebastian, FL and Royce (Sonjay) Harrison of Fort Pierce, FL; grandchildren, Samantha, Hailey, Riley, Lauren, and Celia; and one great-grandchild, Greyson.

A visitation will be held at Haisley Funeral Home on Thursday, August 03, 2023, from 4 PM to 5 PM, with a memorial service to follow at 5 PM.
