Mary Kathryn "Katy Bug" Church

Mary Kathryn Church, best known as “Katy Bug” by her family and friends, spread her wings and flew home on September 22, 2006. She was surrounded by her family and closest friends.Katy was born on June 2, 2005. From the moment of her birth, Katy was destined for great things. In her short life, Katy’s sparkling blue eyes and infectious laughter touched the lived of everyone she met. She loved her sisters and friends at Trinity Academy. Her favorite things were butterflies, flowers and swinging on the hammock with her family.Katy’s legacy will live on in the hearts of those who survive her, her parents, Troy and Robyn Church; her sisters, Madelyn Denise and Olyvia Anne; her maternal grandmother, Janice Hancock; her maternal great-grandmother, Madelyn Robinson; her paternal grandmother, Gail Church; paternal great-grandmother, Bertie Cofer; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.Memorial contributions can be made to Westside Baptist Church, 3361 South Jenkins Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34981 or Trinity Academy Preschool, 5150 Oleander Avenue, Fort Pierce, FL 34982.
