Mary Lee Kuchta

Mary Lee Kuchta, age 87, passed away at 12:46 a.m. September 28, 2020 at home in Ft. Pierce, FL, with her husband at her side.
She was born April 19, 1933 in Detroit, daughter of Wilson and Leona Shaffer.
She married the love of her life, Anthony Stephen Kuchta, in 1949 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Belleville, MI. She graduated from Belleville High School in 1950. They had eight children and lived in Brazil and England during his career with Ford Motor Co. They enjoyed traveling together throughout the world.
Her accomplishments are too numerous to list and she will be missed greatly.
She is survived by her husband of 71 years; her children Anthony Kuchta, Jr.; Christine (R.T.) Brodhead of Harbor Springs, MI; Eileen (Alan) Bebeau of Waianae, Hawaii; Bradley Kuchta of Flaggler Beach, FL; Joanne Thompson of Kilauea, Hawaii; Michelle Garry of Jensen Beach, FL; and James (Elizabeth) Kuchta of Simi Valley, CA; and 20 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father; mother Leona and stepfather Harry Agee; siblings Leonard, Shirley and Lorain; and her son Jeffrey Kuchta in September.
Mary Lee was a member of Notre Dame Catholic Church. Because of the pandemic and the large family, the Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
