Mrs. Makowski was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan and moved to Fort Pierce in 1986.
She was once an avid bowler and enjoyed arts and crafts.
Survivors include her sons, David Makowksi of Fort Pierce, FL and Dennis Makowski of Casnovia, MI; daughters, Susan Krupp of Spring Lake, MI and Mary Jo Bianco of Kissimmee, FL; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Makowksi.
