Mary Yvonne Forget Roberts. 1/4/1946 - 2/16/2021
passed away in her Goat Barn, which was her most cherished and favorite place ,
on February 16th, 2021.
Yvonne was married to Butch Roberts for 54 years who passed away in June of 2020
"Eve" as many of us called her, was a lifetime member of the American Dairy Goat Association and Florida Dairy Goat Association where she served as President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer throughout her 40 year span in the industry. She was also a member of the Australian Shepard Club of America.
Over the years Yvonne raised some of the finest French Alpine Dairy Goats in the country. Traveling all over the southeastern United States, with all 5 of us kids in tow. She bred and raised numerous Grand Champions and made a lasting impression in the Dairy Goat industry. For many years she provided goats milk to cancer patients, lactose intolerable children, and many others.
Many of you will remember Yvonne as the lady downtown that delivered lunches. She prided herself in going to work
Everyday in downtown Ft. Pierce . Over a the years she worked for Cafe La Ronde, Gateleys among others.
Yvonne was born in England, to the late Gwen and John C. Forget and sailed to America on the Queen Elizabeth when she was a year old.
Survivors include Children: Michelle (Sparky), Michael, Christy, Jamie (Scott) and Joey ( Crystal ) Grandchildren
