Matthew Phillip Schneider

Matthew Phillip Schneider, age 70, died on April 4, in Fort Pierce, FL. He was born in Philadelphia, PA and moved to Fort Pierce, in 1954.

He was a graduate of Dan McCarty High School, the owner/operator of Schneider Tire Supply Company, a Golden Poet Award Winner, a HAM radio operator, a photographer, a poet and enjoyed metal detecting. He was a veteran of the US Air Force.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Claudia Davis Schneider of Fort Pierce; his sons, Michael J. Schneider of Fort Pierce, Mark (Leslie) Schneider of Fort Pierce, Matthew C. Schneider of Jensen Beach; his grandchildren, Kaitlin Goedeke (Philip) of Fort Pierce, Michael P. Schneider of Fort Pierce, Gunnar Schneider of Fort Pierce, Nathan Schneider of Fort Pierce, Mikayla Schneider of Jensen Beach, Kate Schneider of Fort Pierce; great-grandchild, Philip M. Goedeke III of Fort Pierce; sisters, Marie (Paul) Adams and Teresa (Cecil) Jenkins, both of Fort Pierce.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.

Friends may call on Friday, April 9th from 10-11AM at the Haisley Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 11AM, with his brother-in-law Edward Davis officiating.
