Maurice E. “Bud” Flood, Jr., 83, died June 7, 2006 in Stuart, Florida.Mr. Flood was born in Titusville, Florida and moved to St. Lucie County in 1928 coming from Titusville, Florida.He worked for Piper Aircraft for many years, WWII Veteran of U.S. Army during the Invasion of Normandy and was a member of the American Legion Post #40.Survivors include his son, Patrick Flood of Ft. Pierce, FL; sister, Mary Gulick of Eau Gallie, FL. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Flood, brother, William Flood and sister, Beatrice Paschal.Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospices, 1201 SE Indian Street, Stuart, FL 34997.
