Melania Cruz Arroyo, 49, passed away on February 2, 2023 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Mrs. Cruz Arroyo was born in Mexico and resided in Fort Pierce, Florida. She arrived in the United States from Mexico in 1988 to build a better life for herself and a better future for her family. Melania always worked hard and put her daughter’s first. She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile.

She was a stay-at-home mom and wife. She attended Colegio de Bachilleres Diantel Huetamo and was a member of Centro Pastoral San Juan Diego, Fort Pierce. She enjoyed sewing, cooking for her family, and enjoyed making dresses for Jesus de Nazareth.

Survivors include her husband, Vidal Aguilar Jaracuaro of Fort Pierce, FL; daughters, Marleni Aguilar of Fort Pierce, FL, Mariana Aguilar Cruz of Fort Pierce, FL, Zitlaly Aguilar of Fort Pierce, FL, and Marilyn Aguilar of Fort Pierce, FL; 8 brothers, 5 sisters, nieces and nephews residing in Mexico, California, Florida and Nevada.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Matias Arroyo and Lorenzo Cruz.

Services: Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2023 from 4:00-7:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home, Fort Pierce. A Catholic Mass will be held on Friday, February 17, 2023 at 12:00 PM at San Juan Diego Center, Fort Pierce.
