Melvia Durden Hinton, 92, went to be with the Lord on March 12, 2015 in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Mrs. Hinton was a Florida Native, born in Winter Beach, Florida and moved to Fort Pierce in 1952 coming from Mount Dora, Florida.
She had a strong belief in her family and Christian roots.
Survivors include her daughters, Bettie Cason of Deltona, FL, Darlene Duckworth of Royal Palm Beach, FL, Rita Harrison of Hollins, AL and Patricia McDaniel of Cumming, GA; son, Arthur L. Durden of Nashville, TN; 22 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Darnell Durden.
