Melvin E. Olson

Melvin E. Olson, 85, died November 9, 2005, in Port St. Lucie, Florida.Mr. Olson was born in Auburn, Maine, and was a resident of this area since 1999, coming from South Harpswell, ME.He worked for the New England Telephone Company for 30 years, entered the 1010th Army Air Force Unit in WWII and was a tail gunner and a staff sergeant during WWII.Memorial contributions may be made to the Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 S.E. Indian Street, Stuart, Florida 34997.
Survivors include his son, Melvin Albert Olson of Port St. Lucie, FL; daughter, Judy Lemberg of Port St. Lucie, FL; sisters, Phyllis Jackson of Beverly Hills, FL and Barbara Sylvester of Auburn, ME. He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Louise Olson.
