Merle M. Lindsey, 77, died April 21, 2013, in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Merle is a native of Fort Pierce, worked and retired from Nevins Packing House where he was a shipping Supervisor, was a 1954 graduate of Dan McCarty High School and was a veteran of the US Army National Guard.
Survivors include his daughters, Cynthia Schott of West Palm Beach, FL, Ruth Ann Chesser of Fort Pierce, FL and Carol Skinner of South Carolina; son, Timothy Cooper of New York, NY; brother, Vent Lindsey and sister, Mildred Lindsey both of Fort Pierce, FL; 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lindsey and son, Bill Cooper.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 24th from 11:00 to 12:00 PM, followed by a Service a 12:00 noon at Haisley Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Haisley Funeral & Cremation Service.
