Michael Duane Bean, 58, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida passed away on November 5, 2018.
Michael was born in Cortland, New York on June 26, 1960 to Richard Bean, Sr and Roxanna (Powell) Atkins. He was raised in Fort Pierce, Florida and graduated from Fort Pierce Central High School.
He was an Aircraft Technician in the United States Navy. Michael was a Home Depot Associate for over 20 years. He was also Plant Manager at Morningside Elementary. He had a special place in his heart for all the children at Morningside and looked forward to going to work every day to see them. The children loved their Mr. Bean, as well. He loved playing Santa Claus for many organizations including; Angel Tree in Fort Pierce and the Autism Home in Port St. Lucie. Michael was a former member of the US Military Vets Motorcycle club.
Survivors include; wife of 31 years, Hollie Bean of Port St. Lucie, Florida; Daughter, Kayla D. Craddock of Port St. Lucie, Florida; Son, Zachary M. Bean of Gainesville, Florida; Mother, Roxanna Powell of Port St. Lucie, Florida; Sisters, Robin Graybush of Port St. Lucie, Florida and Michelle Jacaruso of Texas; Brother, Richard “Bone” Bean of Denton, Maryland; Sister, Jennifer Bean of Texas; Brother, Christopher Bean of Texas; Grandchildren, Eevie Bean, Kairi Bean, and Steven Craddock; as well as Step-brothers, Richard Powell of Port St. Lucie, Florida and Ray Glaeser of Maryland. He was predeceased by his Father, Richard L. Bean, Sr and Step-father, Livious C. Powell, Jr.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at First Baptist Church of Fort Pierce 4500 S. 25th Street Fort Pierce, Florida 34981 at 1PM.
