It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Anthony Gampolo, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. Michael passed away on December 27, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. 

Born on November 8, 1960, Michael lived a life full of love, laughter, and adventure. For 45 beautiful years, he was devoted to his wife, Joann Gampolo, creating a partnership built on unwavering love and support. Together, they raised four children: Malitha Tardiff (Jason Tardiff), Nicole Gampolo, Jacqueline Gornitzky (David Gornitzky), and Michael Gampolo II (Amanda Gampolo), along with their cherished fur baby, Sadie. 

Michael also leaves behind his parents, Patricia and Anthony Gampolo, his brother, Larry Gampolo (Desi Gampolo), 6 Grandchildren, Nadya Gampolo (Shavar Lee), Nathan Gornitzky (Genesis Gornitzky), Alexandria Tardiff-Shupe (Brandon Shupe), Joel Tardiff (Jennifer Reyes), Angelo Gornitzky ,Gianni Gornitzky, and Great grandbaby, Christiano Michael Lee. He is preceded in death by his sister, Deborah Battistelli, whose memory he treasured deeply.

Michael proudly served his country in the United States Air Force before embarking on a successful career as a Senior Superintendent at VCC Construction. His work ethic, leadership, and dedication were admired by all who knew him professionally. A man of boundless energy and a positive mental attitude, Michael’s passions defined his vibrant life. He loved golfing, riding his motorcycle, and creating joy through his extraordinary Christmas light displays. He found immense happiness in traveling and spending time with family and friends. His quick wit and love for comedy brought smiles to everyone around him. Above all, Michael was a devoted family man who treasured every moment with his loved ones. 

Michael’s legacy is one of kindness, optimism, and a love for life that inspired all who knew him. While his presence will be deeply missed, his spirit lives on in the hearts of those he touched.

Private Mass for family and friends will be held on Saturday January 18th, 2025 at 10AM at St. Bernadette Catholic Church 350 NW California Blvd Port Saint Lucie, FL 34986.

A Celebration of Life will follow from 11:30AM - 3:30PM at The Sandpiper Room at The Saints Pub 2601 SE Morningside Blvd, Port St. Lucie, FL 34952. Please RSVP using the Guestbook below.
