Michael J. Greco, 78, of Port St. Lucie, FL passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer on December 27, 2022 at home with his family.
John and Josephine Greco gifted Michael to the world on November 28, 1944 in Chicago, IL. Michael served proudly as a truck driver and a mechanic in the United States Marine Corps from 1962 to 1966. He would marry his beloved Deborah on June 22, 1985, together they would face life’s challenges for 37 years.
Michael loved vehicles, especially antique cars and motorcycles. He also enjoyed cooking for his family, and playing golf, bowling, or shooting pool with friends. Nothing brought him more joy than being a husband, father, and eventually a grandfather. He will also be remembered as a loyal friend to many.
Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Deborah. He will be greatly missed by his son, Michael and wife Paula; as well as their children, Miles and Monroe, all of Orlando, FL. He was greeted at Heaven’s gates by his parents, John and Josephine.
A memorial service will be conducted at St. Bernadette’s Catholic Church 350 NW California Blvd Port St. Lucie, FL 34986 on Monday, January 16, 2023 at 10AM. For friends and family unable to attend the Florida memorial service, another memorial will be held at St Peters Catholic Church 551 N Rush St, Itasca, Ill on Monday, February 6, 2023 at 10 AM
In lieu of flowers, Michael’s family requested donations be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital
