Michael Monroe Harris, 60, died May 8, 2014 in Fort Pierce, Florida.

Michael was a Lifelong resident of Fort Pierce, Florida.

He was a graduate of Dan McCarty High School and worked at Scotty’s Lumber for 20 plus years. Michael was very athletic, he held a black belt in Karate, was very involved in Martial Arts, and played Jai-Alai in Fort Pierce. He truly enjoyed being around his nieces and nephews and pets; they brought him much joy. He loved life, and was very devoted to his family & will be forever loved & missed by them. He was of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his mother, Cecile Harris of Fort Pierce, FL; sisters, Toni Harris of Connecticut, Julie Ann Harris of Fort Pierce, FL, Becky Harris Barnes (Jimmy) of Port St Lucie, FL, Michelle Harris Ledlow of Fort Pierce, FL, Amanda Overstreet (Jim) of Fort Pierce, FL; brother, James Harris of Panama City, FL; nieces & nephews, Clint & Justin Harris, Krista Ledlow Stalker, Dane Williams, Chance Kenyon, Gabriel Gasmi, Dominic Gasmi, Ava Overstreet, Kaden Stalker, Kashlyn Stalker and his amazing cousin, Candy Green of Plant City, FL. He is preceded in death by his father, Monroe Harris & sister, Cheryl Ann Harris.
