Michael Joseph Scibran, 47, died on October 22, 2010 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mr. Scibran was born in Buffalo, New York and was a resident of Ft. Pierce, Florida.
Mike graduated from Lancaster High, Lancaster N.Y. He received an Associates in Science from Villa Maria College, Buffalo, N.Y., Associates in Science and an Associates in Art in General Studies from Indian River Community College, Fort Pierce, Florida, Bachelors in Arts and Humanities from Florida Atlantic University, Port St. Lucie, Florida. He taught as an adjunct instructor at Indian River State College in the Graphic Design Technology Department and a lab assistant. Mike was recently offered a position with Digital Domain in St. Lucie West, Florida.
Mike loved to read, write, cooking, going to movies, exploring all the areas of graphic design and the world of comics.
Survivors include his fiancé, Ginger Martin and their beloved pets, J-Kar and Jade; his loving mother, Bertha Scibran-Burnside; sisters, Joyce Scibran-Kelly, Barbra Scibran Ballistrea and Katherine Scibran; brothers, David Scibran and Robert Scibran; 18 nieces and nephews and 7 great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Florian A. Scibran.
Services: A gathering will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2010 from 1-2 PM with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 PM at Haisley Funeral Home
