Michael Shawn Newton, 34, was called home on Tuesday, September 14, 2021.
Shawn was born on February 17, 1987 in Fort Pierce. He attended Ft. Pierce Westwood High School and was recently attending barber school. He loved playing basketball and video games with his daughter Kaylanah.
Shawn is survived by his daughter, Kaylanah Newton; mother, Cindy Crowe; sister, Kaitlyn Cerda and nephew, Drew Cerda; cousin, Kelly McSwain and grandmother, Nancy Bergenroth. He will be missed by a vast amount of friends and family, including his aunts Anna Toulson (Vern) and Jeanne Bailey and uncle Eddie Newton.
He was predeceased by his father Thomas Michael “Newt” Newton, cousin Jessica Newton, uncles Buzzy Crowe and Roy Newton, and brother-in-law Andrew Cerda.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 22nd from 10:00-11:00 am at Haisley Funeral Home 3015 Okeechobee Road Ft. Pierce 34947. The funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 am.
