Pierce in 1979 coming from Vero Beach.He was a senior biological scientist at the Indian River Research & Education Center for the University of Florida.Survivors include his wife of 4 years, Jessica Burton of Ft. Pierce, FL; sons, Xavier Mitchell Burton and Xander Michael Burton of Ft. Pierce, FL; brother, Stephen Lee Burton of Stuart, FL; father, Randy Burton and mother, Dolly Burton both of Ft. Pierce, FL; grandmother, Nella Marie Burton of Bartow, FL; grandfather, Ronald G. Burton of Ft. Pierce, FL; step-grandmother, Rebecca Burton of Ft. Pierce, FL.Memorial contributions for his children may be made to any Bank Atlantic branch to the burial account in the name of Xander Burton.Services: Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2008 from 5-7 PM at Haisley Funeral Home. A service will be held on Friday, May 23, 2008 at 1:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.
